Escapees Northeast Chapter 3 June Rally Report 2018
Our Chapter 3 June Rally was held Monday, June 18 – Thursday, June 21st at Newfound RV Park, in Bridgewater, NH. There were 5 rigs, 10 members attending. The first day was extremely hot with a lot of sitting around getting to know everyone. The Chapter provided a fine dinner of hamburgers, with cheddar cheese and onions, baked bean, potato salad and mini cupcakes. After clean up, we all played dominoes – with half of the players new at the game, it was a learning event for all.
Day 2 – the weather was perfect. Enjoying the outdoors most of the day. Later, Donna and Peter made a store run and took our lists. Had Social Hour under some trees, then pot luck in the club house. The food was all great and we had left over potato salad and min cupcakes. Later, we all met back at the club house to play dominoes.
Day 3 - Free Day – Some members went to Profile Falls. Some went site seeing round the beach with shopping {looking for Aimee} and lunch at Hart’s Turkey Farm. Along the way they found a real nice ice cream shop. We had social hour, talking about the day, which lasted through dinner for most were still full from lunch. As the bugs started to come out we moved in the club house. Had our ice cream social and played dominoes. We moved the time for breakfast to 8:30, as no one had a very long trip.
Day 4 - The next morning, we had a pancake breakfast. Cleaned up. Packed up and left our very enjoyable rally.
John and Maureen, took the club gear, as the campground is for sale.
